It was indeed a day of great blessings for the staff and students of Don Bosco High School and Jr. College, Naigaon, as the Regional Councillor for South Asian Region, Rev Fr. Biju Michael, visited our institution and spent the day with the staff and the students.
The day began with celebration of the Holy Eucharist early morning followed later by a short felicitation, where the students welcomed him with a prayer dance. He addressed the students encouraging and advising them to be honest and pure in words and action. He later addressed the staff saying, “We need to grow in the Salesian Charism by serving the poorest and the neediest in our neighbourhood.” He further added that “Education is a matter of hearts and we all need to build synergy by working selflessly and giving our selves completely to whatever task we take up. In doing so, we will be able to accomplish Don Bosco’s vision.
