SR.KG.SPORTS DAY 2023-24
“Sports have the ability to unite people and create connections that cut over social class, religion, and race.”
The Senior KG Annual Sports Meet was held on 25th January,2024. The event, which embodied the theme “SPORTS FOR TEAM WORK AND NATION BUILDING,” was a thrilling way to encourage kids about the need for physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The Rector Rev.Fr. Dominic Martis, was the chief guest for the day.
Along with competing in the 50-meter flat race, the students of Senior Kindergarten also had fun in other entertaining races such as the Hurdle Race, Book Balancing Race, Hula Hoop Race, Potato Race, and Threading the Beads Race.
The Senior KG pupils participated in the ‘Mass Drill’ which was the highlight of the day. Our Principal, Fr. Anthony Fonseca and Vice Principal, Fr. Joaquim Fernandes awarded medals and certificates to the winners of the various sporting competitions.
Important life lessons like discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience were imparted during the sports day which made it a great learning experience especially for our young children.
