Prime attractions in the Space Zone
The Bosco Planetarium is an endeavour by the students of Std XII (Science section) under the guidance of their teachers. Also known as the Dark Room, it gives one insight into and answers 3 main questions about space and evolution.
- How the universe came into existence?
- How life evolved on earth?
- Is there possibility of life on other planets?
Students presented the video, answered questions, and were well versed with topics on ISRO and satellites. Students said that it took 20 days to complete the video after doing thorough research. They found it to be a gratifying team effort. The show takes approximately 5 minutes, but is worth the watching, all in complete darkness.
The entire terrace has the aura of space and the solar system. A huge model of a rocket along with an astronaut attracts the eye. Polestar Planetarium has installed a mini planetarium at one end of the terrace. Children and adults can get a cosmic experience at a negligible cost.
Do not miss these attractions.
