An assembly whose theme was “Duty to Care for the Weak and Poor” was conducted by Class VII A in the school hall on 11th July at 7:30 am. The program aimed at creating an awareness and promoting compassion towards the weak and the poor.
The event commenced with the daily prayer, setting a solemn and reflective tone for the assembly. Following the prayer, the students of Class VII A presented a skit titled “A Heart for the Weak.” The skit showcased a group of compassionate students coming together to organize a charity event. Through their efforts, they aimed to spread awareness and raise funds to assist the weak and poor in their community. The skit highlighted the importance of unity and collective action in making a positive impact on society.
After the skit, the students beautifully rendered the song “Heal the World,” resonating with the theme of the assembly. The heartfelt rendition emphasized the need for empathy and compassion towards those in need.
The Rector, Fr. Dominic Martis, expressed his admiration for the students of Class VII A. He commended their efforts in organizing an assembly program that focused on the duty to care for the weak and poor, emphasizing the importance of such values in today’s society.
