Teacher's Day was celebrated with lots of enthusiasm & love. The students of Std X took on the mantle of staff members & managed the classes for an hour and a half. Later the teachers were treated to a programme of song & dance. Preceding this was a short but meaningful prayer service. The important role teachers play emerged through the service. 2 children performed on the keyboard & a little 6th grader kept the audience going with her powerful melodious voice.
After the programme, the teachers were felicitated in their individual classes. After the children left there was a celebration for the entire staff. Games were played, gifts distributed and lunch was served.
