MATHS DAY

To create a generation that enjoys learning Math and to add a spark of creativity and fun in learning Math, the teachers from the Maths Faculty, organised quizzes, puzzles and other activities in the classroom on the occasion of Maths Day.

Charts carrying important information about Math, fun facts, the background of great mathematicians and tips on how Math can be used effectively in our day to day lives, were displayed in the corridors and classrooms. The morning talk presented by a student from class nine, threw light on the effectiveness of mathematics in building mental discipline, encouraging logical reasoning and its influence on society. The Principal, Fr. Anthony Fonseca, spoke about the significance of mathematics and encouraged the students to cultivate a positive attitude towards learning mathematics.
