On May 1st, our school proudly celebrated Maharashtra Day with a brief yet meaningful flag unfurling ceremony to honor the formation of the state of Maharashtra in 1960.
The event began with the gathering of students, teachers, and staff on the school playground followed by the unfurling of the national flag by our Vice – Principal, Fr. Joaquim Fernandes. Everyone stood in reverence as the national anthem echoed through the grounds.

A short speech was delivered by the Vice – Principal highlighting the significance of Maharashtra Day and the state’s rich cultural and historical heritage. The ceremony concluded with a feeling of pride, leaving everyone with a sense of patriotism and respect for the state.
