Don Bosco High School – Investiture Ceremony

Aimed at cultivating leadership qualities among students through the establishment of a student council, the Investiture Ceremony for the Primary Section at Don Bosco High School Naigaon, was held on 6th July, 2024, in the school hall, attended by the members of the Management.

The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer service dedicated to St. Dominic Savio, seeking blessings for the newly elected student council.

A prayer dance followed, enhancing the event with a spiritual atmosphere.

A presentation on the life of St. Dominic Savio illustrated his virtues, inspiring students with his exemplary life.

The badges, representing authority and responsibility, were blessed by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis.

The Principal, Fr. Anthony Fonseca introduced the aims and objectives of the student council.

The newly appointed Head Boy took the oath, committing to uphold the school’s values, followed by an inspiring address from the Head Girl, who shared her vision for the upcoming year.

The ceremony was formally inaugurated with motivational speeches by Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis and our principal, Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to all who contributed to the ceremony’s success.

The ceremony was a significant occasion that not only acknowledged student leadership but also celebrated the ethos and spirit of Don Bosco High School and Jr. College, Naigaon.
