8th July 2024, was a memorable day for the students at Don Bosco High School Naigaon, as enthusiastic teams participated in the interhouse football and throwball tournament. The tournaments showcased the teamwork of the students. The event kicked off at 10.00am, on the grounds of Don Bosco Naigaon, bringing together participants from all houses, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie among students.
The matches were closely contested, highlighting the skills and strategic abilities of the players. Spectators cheered their respective houses, creating an electric atmosphere on the field. The Yellow House team triumphed in the tournament, securing a 1-0 victory over the Green House.
Simultaneously, the throwball tournament saw spirited performances from our female students. Teams from each house demonstrated agility and coordination throughout the competition. The matches were closely fought, showcasing the determination and skill of each participant.
The Green House clinched the first place, while the Blue House secured second place. The champions displayed excellent teamwork and strategic thinking, securing victory and earning the admiration of their peers.
The interhouse football and throwball tournament not only promoted physical fitness but also encouraged teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students. It provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and develop essential life skills through sports.
