The students and house teachers of both sections of the school; primary and secondary, enthusiastically observed Green House Day on November 28, 2023. The student’s excitement set the tone for the day honouring the legacy of their house mascot, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The highlights of the day were the captivating presentations by the students of Green House. This visual journey explored various facets of Nehru’s life, providing the audience with a profound glimpse into the statesman’s persona. Following the presentation, the stage came alive with delightful dance performances. The students beautifully captured Pandit Nehru’s profound love for children through their graceful movements, adding a touch of artistry to the celebration.

A segment dedicated to Jawaharlal Nehru’s quotes followed, underscoring his wisdom and vision for the future. The chosen quotes resonated with the audience, emphasizing the enduring impact of Nehru’s ideals.

The audience was then treated to insightful speeches by students, who shed light on the significance of the day and Nehru’s enduring legacy. Their words added depth to the celebration, enriching the understanding of the visionary leader’s contributions.

 Fr. Dominic Martis, the Rector, took the stage to emphasize the importance of Pandit Nehru’s five-year plans. His speech highlighted the visionary aspect of Nehru’s leadership and the impact it had on shaping India’s developmental trajectory.

 Fr. Anthony Fonseca, the Principal, congratulated the supervisors, the teachers and students of Green House in his speech. He acknowledged their efforts in putting together a meaningful celebration and encouraged the students to continue embodying the spirit of Jawaharlal Nehru.
