On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, our school organised a Cleanliness Drive on 1st October, 2023 at 10.00am in the school premises as a part of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan Programme. The main objective of the Cleanliness Drive was to educate the students about Cleanliness and its advantages.
Under this programme, students from 8th to 10th had to participate. Even teachers were the essential part of this drive. As a part of this Cleanliness Drive, the students had to clean the school campus.
The students picked up the wrappers that were scattered around the campus, they swept the campus using stick-brooms and carefully dumped the garbage in the bins.
Thereafter, our principal, Fr. Anthony Fonseca, addressed the students telling them about the importance of cleanliness and good sanitation. He also honoured the sweepers of the school for their noble job of keeping the premises clean.
