A fortnight prior to the great event of the canonisation of Saint Teresa, Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Naigaon began its efforts to make each & every child aware of, & appreciate this event. Posters on boards in the corridors & in every class carried the pictures, of this ‘Saint of the gutters’ along with her most famous quotes & good work.
Special assemblies were held replete with speeches & power point presentations on her life & works. Subjects like Personality Development and Value Education were used to propagate the importance of the values Mother Teresa portrayed all through her life. All through these days the main board in the lobby displayed simple but meaningful Mother Teresa quotations. Students were also urged to view the canonisation ‘live’ on TV by the Principal & the Manager.
Project work in some classes were based on the life and good work of this great Saint who the world knew always as our beloved ‘Mother Teresa’.
