The Interschool Elocution Competition hosted by Don Bosco School was a grand success, featuring a blend of inspiring speeches and exemplary oratory skills from young participants. The event began with a graceful welcome dance performed by the students of Don Bosco High School, setting a vibrant tone to the competition. Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, the esteemed Rector, warmly welcomed the audience. In his speech, he emphasized Don Bosco’s educational philosophy, which is grounded in reason, religion, and loving kindness, and encouraged the participants to perform with confidence and passion.

Tr. Resal introduced the distinguished judges, Mrs. Jeannetta Noronha and Ms. Scarlett Nair D’Souza. Mrs. Noronha, a postgraduate in English Literature and a dedicated professor, is also an active volunteer with the Prison Ministry in Mumbai. Ms. Scarlett Nair D’Souza, a counselor with 21 years of experience and a strong advocate for animal welfare, was equally celebrated. The school presented each judge with a sapling symbolizing growth, wisdom, and compassion, as a token of appreciation. The competition, themed around ‘Peace and Care for Creation’, featured participants from various schools, each delivering their speeches in English, Hindi, and Marathi, with remarkable eloquence. The speeches covered diverse topics, reflecting the creativity and intellect of the young speakers. After an intense and captivating round of speeches, the winners were announced.
