The Interschool Football Competition for girls, held on 31st August 2024 and organized by Don Bosco High School and Jr. College, was a dynamic and competitive event. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, the Principal, Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca, the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Joaquim Fernandes, and Supervisors. Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis officially kicked off the tournament, offering words of encouragement to all the participants. The matches then unfolded according to the planned fixtures.
The event attracted enthusiastic participation from 10 teams representing prominent schools in the region. Each team showcased remarkable skills and sportsmanship on the field. The primary goal of the competition was to provide a platform for students to demonstrate their football talents and teamwork. With the help of an esteemed panel of referees and officials, the tournament maintained a high standard of fair play and sportsmanship. The Football Competition not only highlighted athletic excellence but also strengthened the sense of community and camaraderie among the participating schools.
