On June 21, 2024, the College Section of the Don Bosco High School and the Junior College convened a solemn Prayer Service in the School Hall at 5:00 pm, marking the inception of the academic year 2024-2025. This reverent gathering served as a poignant reminder of the significance of seeking divine guidance and blessings at the commencement of a new academic journey.

The prayer service provided a platform for students to congregate and reflect on the importance of education in their lives, acknowledging the pivotal role it plays in shaping their future. The occasion was graced by the presence of our Principal, Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca, who delivered an inspiring address that motivated students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

In his address, Principal Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca emphasized the importance of active participation in various school events and activities, particularly during this milestone Silver Jubilee Year. He also took the opportunity to introduce and welcome Rev. Fr. William Falcao, the newly appointed School Administrator, who brings with him a wealth of experience as the pioneer of Don Bosco School, Naigaon (East).

Rev. Fr. William Falcao’s motivational message urged students to embrace their full potential, to soar to great heights, and to find joy in the learning process. His words of wisdom resonated deeply with the students, inspiring them to approach the new academic year with renewed enthusiasm and dedication.

The prayer service set a positive tone for the academic year, fostering a sense of community, spiritual growth, and collective purpose among students. It served as a reminder that education is not merely an academic pursuit, but a holistic journey that encompasses spiritual, emotional, and social growth.
