The prayer service at school held on 20th June 2024, for grades V to VII and on 21st June 2024, for grades VIII to X, was a meaningful and uplifting event that set a positive tone for the new academic year. The theme, “Believe in Yourself and Challenge Your Limits,” was effectively conveyed through various components of the service, leaving students inspired and motivated. The combination of prayers, reflections, music, and motivational speeches created a holistic experience that reinforced the values of faith, self-confidence, and resilience.
The prayers focused on asking for guidance, strength, and wisdom for both students and teachers. Students placed their petitions and prayed for a year filled with learning, growth, and the courage to face challenges head-on.
Chosen scripture passages emphasized the power of faith and perseverance, reinforcing the theme of believing in oneself and challenging personal limits.
Motivational videos served as an inspiration for students and teachers inspiring them to challenge their limits, accept change, maintain self-confidence in the face of adversity and take on the new year with positivity, enthusiasm and confidence.
The principal, Fr. Anthony Fonseca, introduced and welcomed the new administrator, Fr. William Falcao. Welcoming the students and staff, he stressed the importance of starting the school year with a positive attitude and strong self-confidence. He highlighted the theme of the prayer service, explaining the importance of setting ambitious goals and believing in oneself which is the first step towards achieving greatness.
The event aimed to inspire and motivate students as they embark on a new academic year, encouraging them to have faith in their abilities and strive to exceed their potential.
