On Saturday, July 6th, 2024, the college students commemorated the feast of St. Dominic Savio with great enthusiasm and devotion. The celebration began with a solemn prayer, followed by intercessory prayers for the school’s welfare and peace. A captivating video presentation on the life of St. Dominic Savio inspired the students, and a heartfelt prayer hymn instilled values of kindness, love, and compassion in their hearts.
The highlight of the event was the address by our Rector, Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, who enlightened the students on the leadership qualities of St. Dominic Savio. He encouraged each student to emulate these qualities, becoming true leaders and good citizens of the world. Rev. Fr. Principal Anthony Fonseca expressed gratitude to the teachers and urged the students to draw inspiration from St. Dominic Savio’s life story, striving to become better leaders of tomorrow.
The celebration also featured exciting Football and Throwball tournaments for boys and girls, respectively, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie among the students. The event was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth among the students. It will be remembered as a significant milestone in our school’s journey towards nurturing responsible and compassionate leaders.
