PRAYER SERVICE - A SOULFUL BEGINNING

A Soulful Beginning – Prayer Service to Bless the Academic Journey

A soul-enriching prayer service was conducted by Students and Teachers of class XII Commerce and Science on Tuesday, 24th June 2025 at 10:15 am in the School Hall. The Prayer service centered on the inspiring theme “Blessing this journey of Learning.” The purpose of this gathering was to seek divine blessings at the commencement of the academic year and to spiritually uplift the hearts of students and staff.

The prayer service commenced with a warm welcome to the dignitaries Rector Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, College Supervisor Mr. Sanjeev Mujumdar, teachers and students.

The Program began with the Lighting of the Lamp ceremony, a symbolic gesture to invoke divine wisdom and enlightenment. Students also participated in Intercessory prayers inviting God’s presence and blessings on the academic year 2025-26.

A motivational video was then played to inspire students, followed by a soulful hymn that added a devotional spirit to the service.

Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, our Rector, spoke with great wisdom and shared encouraging words, uplifting the spirits of all present. He said that students should believe in themselves and that each student should try to boost their own confidence. He emphasized the role of teachers in training and motivating new students to participate in college events.

The Prayer Service concluded by reminding everyone to carry forward the peace, positivity, and blessings received into the academic journey.
