Empowering Futures: Don Bosco Students Master Time Management

On July 16, 2025, Don Bosco Junior College hosted a thought-provoking assembly on “Time Management and Procrastination” organized by Std XII Commerce students. The event was graced by Rector Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis and Principal Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca and Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Joaquim Fernandes.

The assembly commenced with a spiritual note, invoking divine guidance for effective time management, followed by an inspiring skit on the value of time Inspirational quotes resonated through the hall, with students highlighting phrases like “Time management helps to increase productivity and efficiency.” A student-delivered speech emphasized prioritizing time effectively and shared practical strategies to overcome procrastination.

Keynote speakers Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis and Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca underscored the importance of setting priorities, building confidence, and cultivating self-improvement habits. Rev. Fr. Martis motivated students to read “Life of Pi” and submit a synopsis for a reward, fostering a culture of reading and reflection. Rev. Fr. Fonseca commended the students’ efforts and inspired them to integrate better time management practices into their daily lives.

The assembly concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, leaving students empowered to manage their time wisely and strive for excellence in all their endeavors.
