On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking observed on 26th June, the Mira Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate organized an awareness campaign under the theme “Drugs Free India”.
As part of this initiative, a Prabhat Feri (morning march) was conducted for our students who actively participated in the rally. The aim was to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of a healthy, drug-free life. Under the guidance and leadership of Police Inspector, Mr. Aware, constable, Mr. Rathod, escorted the students and teachers on the Prabhat Feri. Carrying handmade charts, posters, and slogans, our students marched with enthusiasm and discipline, raising powerful messages such as:
“Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life”, “Live Life Drug Free, Say NO to Drugs”
The event was a collective effort to educate the public, especially the youth, about the dangers of substance abuse and to promote a safer, healthier community.
We thank the Police Commissionerate for involving our students in this meaningful cause and helping instil in them a strong sense of social responsibility and awareness.
