Art & Craft Competition: Art Beyond Limits 

The College Section of the Don Bosco High School & Jr. College, Naigaon (E) organised an Art & Craft Competition for the students of Grade XI and XII Commerce/Science on 29th August 2026, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the College Classrooms.

The competition provided students with a vibrant platform to showcase their creativity, imagination and artistic abilities. It encouraged them to move beyond conventional academic learning and express their thoughts and ideas through colour, design and innovative creations.

The Art Competition, themed “The World of My Dreams Through My Eyes,” invited students to portray their personal vision of the world through drawing and painting. Each creation reflected the individuality and imagination of its creator, allowing students to communicate their ideas and perspectives through art.

Adding an important environmental dimension to the event, the Craft Competition was based on the theme “Upcycled Creations.” Students transformed old and discarded materials into attractive, creative and useful decorative items. Through this activity, they not only demonstrated their artistic skills but also explored the importance of reuse, recycling and environmental responsibility.

The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the participants were truly commendable. Students demonstrated originality and innovative thinking while working on their creations. The competition also provided them with an opportunity to develop valuable qualities such as confidence, concentration, imagination and perseverance. At the same time, it fostered a healthy spirit of competition and encouraged students to appreciate and respect the creativity and efforts of their peers.

More than just a competition, the event became a celebration of imagination, self-expression and responsible creativity. It gave students the freedom to experiment, create and communicate their ideas in their own unique ways.
