VASAI KAAL–KRIDA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2025

Students of Don Bosco High School & Jr. College, Naigaon, participated with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit in the Vasai Kaal-Krida Basketball Tournament 2025, held on 27th December 2025. Competing against strong teams from across the region, our boys and girls showcased commendable skill, teamwork, and determination.

In the Under-14 Boys A category, Don Bosco began with a convincing win against Vasai Hoopsters A (17–9), followed by a bye. In the final match, they faced Vasai Hoopsters B and secured an admirable 2nd place after a close contest.

The Under-14 Boys B team played spiritedly, facing Vasai Hoopsters B and Rahul International School. With consistent effort and determination, the team finished in 3rd place.

The Under-14 Girls team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. After progressing through a bye and a walkover, they faced St. Xavier’s ICSE in the final match and emerged victorious with a score of 6–2, securing 1st place and bringing laurels to the school.

The Under-17 Girls team also performed commendably, winning their match against Vasai Hoopsters (13–1) and putting up a strong fight against Carmelite Convent School (6–4). Their efforts earned them a respectable 3rd place finish.

The tournament witnessed participation from 7 teams in Under-14 Boys, 6 teams in Under-14 Girls, and 5 teams in Under-17 Girls, making the competition challenging and enriching.

Overall, the performance of our students reflected the true Don Bosco spirit of sportsmanship, perseverance, and teamwork. The school congratulates all the players and coaches for their dedication and proud representation of the institution.
