Green House Day Celebration

At Don Bosco’s Naigaon, Green House celebrated its House Day on 23rd July with a vibrant programme dedicated to the life and legacy of their House Mascot, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The event showcased the values and vision of the ‘Missile Man of India’, inspiring all present to emulate his ideals.

The highlight of the celebration was a skit presented by the House Mistress and students, portraying the remarkable journey of Dr. Kalam and his immense contributions to India and humanity. Alongside, students presented soulful poetry, stirring speeches, and graceful dances that paid tribute to the former President’s extraordinary life. The notice boards, creatively designed by the students, displayed his powerful quotes and sayings, serving as a constant source of motivation.

The Rector, Rev. Fr. Dominic Martis, in his address, urged students to aim high and dedicate themselves to serving society, drawing inspiration from the humility, scientific temper, and selfless service exemplified by Dr. Kalam. He reminded them that true greatness lies not in recognition but in service without expectation. Fr. Martis also expressed his appreciation to the teachers and students of Green House for their efforts in putting together such a meaningful and inspiring programme.

The celebration was a true homage to Dr. Kalam, leaving students motivated to dream big, remain humble, and contribute selflessly to society.
