GUIDING PATHWAYS, SHAPING FUTURES: CAREER GUIDANCE SESSION FOR X

The school organised a Career Guidance Session for the students of Standard X, in collaboration with Prafulta Counselling Services, on 7th of November, 2025. The session was conducted by experienced psychologists Mrs. Asha Dhandhaliya and Ms. Neha Nadkarni, who have been closely associated with student counselling and guidance.

The counsellors discussed the results of the aptitude tests conducted earlier and shared the detailed Career Guidance Reports with the students and their parents. They carefully explained the findings, helping students understand their strengths, abilities, interests, and areas of potential growth. The session provided clear insights into the different academic streams and vocational options available after Grade X, thus assisting students in making informed and confident decisions regarding their future studies.

The resource persons also addressed various queries raised by parents and students, ensuring clarity and comfort in the decision-making process. They highlighted the importance of choosing a stream not out of pressure or imitation, but based on individual aptitude and personal inclination. Towards the end, the counsellors offered one-on-one interactions for parents who wished to discuss specific concerns about their wards. The session, which lasted for one and a half hours, proved to be informative, reassuring, and supportive. Parents expressed their gratitude for the guidance received, and students felt encouraged to reflect upon their goals and aspirations with greater confidence.

The programme concluded with a shared understanding that career decisions are best made when guided by awareness, self-understanding, and informed choices, and the session effectively paved the way for that.
